Bristol United For Once As Away Record Stretches To Thirty Two

..............history isn't just about yesteryear, it's also happening right now, and is brought to you on a regular basis in The Canary Chronicles

Norwich City can tonight boast that they have brought together the various footballing tribes of Bristol. Today's three nil victory might have been the Canaries first win at Ashton Gate since 1980, but it added to a fine recent record on visits to the area. In their last three matches, Norwich have won 13-0 across all games. Prior to this afternoon, they had a very satisfying 3-0 win at Bristol Rovers last May in a League One fixture. And in November 2009, they went to non league Paulton Rovers and won 7-0. So understandably Norwich are not particularly well liked in the Bristol area right now.............but at least they have given the locals something to agree about, irrespective of their club colours !

Norwich City have also stretched their league scoring away run to thirty two games. Strikes from Simeon Jackson (2) and Wes Hoolahan ensured the record stays alive.
