Adam Drury Breaks A Five Year Duck

..............history isn't just about yesteryear, it's also happening right now, and is brought to you on a regular basis in The Canary Chronicles

When full back Adam Drury smashed home a Wes Hoolahan pass in Tuesday night's Championship game against Leicester City, it was his first goal for Norwich City since January 2005. Many fans will have a joyous recollection of his last strike which came in the epic Premier League game against Middlesbrough, which ended in a 4-4 draw. This time around, Adam's little piece of history helped the Canaries to a 4-3 win and moved them up to third spot in the table. It was only his fourth career goal in 333 senior appearances for Norwich and we wonder whether we need to wait until 2015 for the next one !

Brilliant moment for Adam, great City player. I nearly caught his shirt when he threw it in to the City crowd at Craven Cottage after the 6-0 in 2005. Would love to have owned it.

I guess it would have been nice to have owned every shirt Adam has ever scored in Nick. And you wouldn't even need a big wardrobe to keep'em all in !!
